Burgundy, Bordeaux, Black Truffles & Blue Jeans

A Casual Sunday Supper with Daniel

Oh darlings, this is going to be doubly delicious! Chef Daniel teams up with a special guest, Chef Gerald Passédat of Marseille’s Le Petit Nice, to prepare an all black truffle themed menu that will be paired with fine Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. 
The duo will start you off with Maine diver scallops layered with black truffle, celery root and brown butter. The next course, by  Passédat, of the Three Michelin star LE PETIT NICE,  is his famous Loup de Ligne Lucie Passédat, also laced with truffle and a dish inspired by his mother. The main course is a poulard roasted with black truffle and served with fleischnecke, brussels sprouts and chestnuts. Passédat will also do the dessert, which is still a surprise. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres by Laurent Kalkotour, the new chef at db Bistro Moderne, who will showcase the flavors of his native Provence.

What: Dinner with a silent auction of rare wine and other unique packages, as well as a live auction of one-of-a-kind travel and dining destinations. $1,000 per person.
All proceeds to benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels.
